Cams with GPS/Data logging? What are you using?

I like the contour GPS but it's pricey for what it is. The Sony Cameras look great and the price isn't to be sniffed at.

Are any of you guys using a merged cam/gps logging, thing?

I have got an APP for data logging on my phone but it's hassle uploading, exporting etc so think I'd sooner a duel item?

There's that Garmin thing, but not seen it, video is supposed to be "average".

Interested to know what app you currently use though Dan, and if you can use it with your Mac.

I tested this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details...

It's very good but you have to spit out the cam footage, spit out the excel sheet (from the app) then import it into http://www.dashware.net/ which then spits out the video.

It seems to takes ages and kills the phone battery, that's if you remember to stick it on which I don't so looking for a one size fits all thing

I'll have a look anyway, it's only every now and then I'd like to use it, and assuming it's available on ios too.

Cheers!

I just use a free app on the phone and stick it to the tank :) Tells me lean angle average speed highest speed ect.

Do you need track GPS in case you get lost trying to find the pits? ;)

It's been known ;)

My track bike doesn't have a speedo etc. You can feel like you're going quick but sometimes you're not! A GPS logger massively helps with all that stuff

Only other legit way i can think of, if you are wanting something that is remotetly accurate is look for a proper data logger.
