I have mine a tad higher as I don't want people seeing the speedo. That isn't because I speed but because I keep up with normal traffic. The second people see that you're going 3mph over the speed limit (like everyone else on the road) they start trolling
You have the horizon line too high, the camera is pointing to the road. Move it so the line gets in the middle of the video.
Also check the settings on the editing software, you're editing 16:9 video in 4:3 mode. When you start your editing project, choose the right aspect ratio, that way you'll avoid the black bars.
its what ever u prefer, but me perosnally i would rather have the camera pointing straight rather then slightly down, i love seeing the road up ahead and the sky.
