Camera/mounts/junk Storage

What is every one using to store everything especially when traveling?

I use an old taped up shoe box for extra stuff along with a soft small camera case for the important stuff (cameras, batteries, memory cards e/t/c).

Normally if I don't have a plan I'll bring just about everything so I can try to get creative

The shoe box has seen better days...

I don't really take all of my mounts when I travel the helmet camera and my goPole are the only things I ever seem to need. I've got the 3-way gopro pole so it is a pole and a tripod in one so it covers all of the bases. That being said when I do take extra stuff I have a tail bag on my bike with different compartments that a can separate things into.

I got my self a camera/walking laptop backpack from mountain warehouse. when i go out i tend to take my:

  • Drift
  • canon d1100
  • camera stand
  • selfie stick
  • mounts and brackets
  • batteries
  • lenses
  • sd cards
its a great back with lots of pockets and padding and when i get home I know where to find everything!

I tend to take everything except for that one joint/screw/stickypad that i need! And all in a tankbag that seems to have one too few compartments and not quite enough space for order!

I've got built in panniers, also a top box, and also a little tank bag for bits, especially if I need to charge batteries on the go, the 12v charge reaches between bag and speaker panel.

For solo ride/travel, I don't carry anything extra apart from perhaps a SD card, a battery, and charger for the GoPro.

For group ride/travel, I will bring extra GoPro (for additional angle/view) and some extra mounts (for the extra camera), the rest is as mentioned above.

I don't check/edit videos while away (lazy to bring the laptop along), but a reminder is to format the memory card before use (for long travel) otherwise you might have some leftover videos you forgotten to delete that would eat up card space.

I usually just turn the camera on if there's something to record so there's no need for me to charge while on the go.

All my cameras are on me/the bike so no need to carry them. All I need to bring with me are SD cards and batteries which are small enough to fit dozens in my pockets if I need to.

The only time I take my GoPro with me when it's not attached to my helmet the whole time is when I go racing. I put my GoPro in an Arai helmet bag, put that inside my helmet with my gloves, and then put another Arai helmet bag over the helmet (I have a lot of spare Arai bags floating around).

Pretty soon though, I think I will be buying myself a carrying case since I just bought a camcorder as well.

I have a backpack and will most likely buy a smaller soft case for what I (eventually) plan on carrying. Just a few spare mounts, batteries, etc.
