Hello guys. I have some problems with my motorcycle. I was cleaning carbs, when i found that there is a little free space around the carb butterfly :

Anyone know from where comes that bad sounds?... Its f*** annoying... Ill never buy ZZR again. I've done all service things and that sound didnt disappear.

Yes, that is normal. That's how air gets into the cylinders with the throttle closed and engine idling. There should be an idle adjust screw (also called the throttle stop screw) which will move all of the butterfly valves open or closed in unison.

If you've adjusted the valves, or had the carbs unganged from each other, you also need to do what is called a "bench sync" (google it) followed by a vacuum sync.

But for idle is that little dot which u can see on the butterfly. Doesnt matter now, because i realized that my carbs needs to be changed for newer one. I found a little slack on the pivot. It moves ~1mm up and down and makes a little noisy etc. Found carbs from 98 so i hope ill fix it soon ;)
