busted my camera.

so I was riding today and it was wet.. coming down one road that was really slippery.. was commenting how slick it was when the back end of the bike kicked out... I spun around and fell.. smacked my head on the ground on the side of the camera and the drift was shattered.

I did find the bits with the mem card in it but have not tried to pull the file and see if there is anything left.... oh.. and I broke my clavicle.

From bitter experience! You will have a corrupted file!

When i had my off i landed headfirst on the Drift 170 stealth. Could not recover the footage! But it did not break! That's 2 crashes with this cam! Its got battle scars!!

But good luck! And if you do manage to get anything off it tell me how!!!!!

worst part.. mem card is trashed.. doesn't even register when tried in multiple readers. so no chance of any footage. and I had another vlog on there I didn't DL to the laptop yet.. oh well. good news.. found a position I am comfortable using a mouse.. so I can still play minecraft

This majorly sucks! Glad you weren't hurt worse. Cameras are replaceable. Enjoy Minecraft in the meantime! Hope you make a full and speedy recovery. How's the bike?

bike is not too bad... mostly cosmetic (v-strom are pretty tough) bent the brake lever and knocked the bar end off but I think the bars are straight (can't really check with a bum arm) the top fairing is a bit cracked up but not too bad.. the one side case took a smack and bent up the framework for it but that and the crashbars saved the rest of the bike from damage. fully insured so I should be speaking to a adjuster in a few days. you know the saying... its not really yours till you scratch it. well.. I guess she is mine now. I will upload pics later on.
