Hey guys, so I actually caught a motorcycle thief here in NZ red handed and to be fair I feel quite proud of myself and even more so because of the circumstances involved, as even the cops said to me, most people would have just ignored and carried on.
In the end it was a very good result, 1 recovered bike, 1 caught thief and a real example of teamwork between a member of the public myself and the NZ police. I put up a video up on my channel about the whole experience where I go into detail describing the situation, discuss my thoughts and my interaction with the police from when I made that decision to call them and all the interactions up until the final statement I had to give.
Here is the video in the link below. I would be keen to know if you would have done the same under my described circumstances and and if not, now knowing the outcome would you act differently? Ultimately if we are aware and prepared to report suspicious activity we could all make potentially make a difference to someone else?
