Hey guys I'm sure there is already a topic on this. But I'm gonna be on a budget for some gear I seen a review on this armor jacket The guy was reviewing it for off road use and I was just wondering would it work for street riding? I'm not the type that's like "oh hey look at me I'm a badass" so I'd get a over shirt to cover it. I could really use some opinions thank guys

The thing with the cheap stuff is that the plastic is so hard. Imagine that hitting the ground without any give, the ground won't soak it up so your body is the soft bits

My old Alpine Star's leather jacket had some padding/armor built into it. I believe it has hard elbows and extra padding on the kidney/ lower back all removable too. That's one piece of gear I will never part with

Typically their isnt many items around that help with impacts from motorbike crashes, usually if you dont hit anything its the sliding along that does damage, i would just buy a decent leather jacket with the armour in it, my rst Tracktech evo has knox armour in the shoulders elbows and back

Just buy some good gear that goes on sale. It is better to buy quality and not die, than save a few dollars and not be able to live another day IMO

I just bought Rst leathers which are shit hot imo, ive already tested the bottoms out haha, Sidi vortice air boots, and a hjc rph10 helmet

Dont buy cheap
Spend more , once off...

That will work, to an extent, As mentioned earlier you dont want hard plastics etc.

aha, i dont know im sure that was the saying, buy cheap and buy twice.
or if you buy cheap not be able to buy again after a crash
