Hi all
Black Sheep Biker here. Also known as Sheepy....
I am a new motovlogger out of Waikato, New Zealand. Nice to meet you all!
I'm a returning biker you could say, I have had my motorbike license for 11 years, and in fact I have owned this same bike for 10 years, the Sheepymobile is a 1995 Kawasaki ZZR600. I did ride a bit when I first got it but scared myself silly and also got rear ended so that sort of put me off, I have hung onto the bike and now the time has come to get back on it. I've been riding every day since this June and am starting to actually become semi-competent! Also got to experience commuting in sub zero temperatures and pouring rain so since I made it this far, BRING ON SUMMER!!!!
I've been wanting to do this motovlogging thing for a while, actually got my GoPro to record myself riding so I could try and improve, and also to record the gorgeous scenery we have here, and along to way stumbled across motovlogging. Fun fact - when I bought this bike motovlogging didn't exist, and you couldn't even buy a GoPro, they didn't exist yet... The whole motovlogging thing has all happened while I have been hibernating, so to speak. I figured since I have the camera and since I am riding a lot, why not whack some rides up on youtube....
I use a Hero 4 silver on a Shoei Gt-Air on a side mount in case that is of any interest. I don't like lots of helmet in the shot and I don't like top mount and I can't do chin mount on this helmet, I think I have a good compromise, I did try adding enough arms so the camera was ahead of me but it vibrated and made me sea-sick watching the footage, although I get seasick watching 60 fps videos anyway for some reason, so I've been shooting 30 fps for now.
My other interests beside motorcycles include photography, aviation, computing, reading sci-fi and fantasy and finally I love cats and dogs, they taste delicious! Just joking!!
Hoping to keep my videos reasonably light and fun, trying to avoid road rage and bad language, but as you will see in my intro video that doesn't last very long!
OK if you've made it this far well done, hope to talk to you all soon..
I am new so unable to post a link but hopefully you can follow my sig to my channel, or just search youtube for Black Sheep Biker and you'll find it.
Thanks for stopping by!
Cheers,
Sheepy
