Bike won't start

I'm having some problems right now with my 2005 Suzuki GS500F. I went to move it to a closer parking space and when I tried to start it, it seemed like the battery didn't have enough power to start the engine. I turn the key and the headlight comes on like normal, all the dash indicators work fine, and the turn signals work fine. You can hear the engine trying to turn over, but just not quite having enough power. Also, this is the second time it has done this to me in the past 4 days. The first time I eventually got it to start by messing around with the battery a little bit, just checking to make sure the battery connections were good; which they were. One second it wouldn't start and the next it started just fine. Over the next two days I didn't ride it but tried starting it periodically; which it did with no problem. Then today, it wouldn't start again. I tried everything I did last time, plus with access to tools, but had no success. Any suggestions on what is wrong?

My guess is that it's not getting a spark or it's not getting fuel.

I don't know if you are able to take your bike apart and work on it or not, but I would check the spark plugs. They could be going bad. Also make sure the spark plug wires are properly seated and whatnot. As for fuel, if your bike died at a stoplight, maybe you're not getting fuel because of a pinched fuel line or something.

Tested the spark plugs and they aren't even sparking, so it's something higher up than that. Even better, when I was reinstalling the left front fairing, I discovered that in one place the frame has cracked completely through.

im thinking spark plugs, fuel-line or other misc electrical.

if no sparks to spark Plugs, Probly going to be the caps. tha go over the spark plugs.

Sounds like a battery tender (or just a new battery) is in order, you're just low on power to crank.

-HOWEVER-

If you're frame is cracked clean through, Toast is right, time for a new bike.

On Monday or Tuesday I'm taking the bike to a shop to get a professional opinion on why it won't start and as to what the damage to the frame is.
