Biggest Fear on a Bike

I was just wondering, what's everyone's biggest fear whilst on a bike? Whilst usually the first thing that springs to mind is crashing, I daresay other than that my biggest fear is coming off and having to ride home with a hole in my trousers from the slide and a bare arse hahaha. So, what's you guys' biggest if not most irrational fear whilst riding. I think this could be interesting :P

getting hit by some dumb mother fucker

I don't really have any when riding, literally care free. but worst fear is being hit by a car or someone else and not being able to ride again

For some reason its losing my front tire, or my asscrack showing while I'm leaned over cause I didnt tuck my undershirt all the way in.

Mine isn't about crashing, it's about being run over after I've come off. Seems a bit strange as crashing in to something is going to be just as painful with similar consequences.

I have a few, but other than crashing, Having a car door open infront of me, and also children darting across the road infront of me.

One word: SAND (or gravel or anything slippery on the road like leaves on water).
I'm so, SO scared of my bike sliding from under me that when I see sand I just pause whatever I'm doing, hold on to my bike and avoid any input so it won't even try to slide.
The only time I crashed on the street was because of water+sand. Other time I crashed offroad was because of slippery mud, the other time I crashed on a lawn at work was because there was a hole with sand hidden under the grass.
When your bike starts sliding away, it's unavoidable, you end up on the floor.

Oh, and those potholes that make your balls come out of your back.

LMFAO I HATE THOSE POTHOLES! Just ran over one that could fit 4 babies in yesterday...
I thought I was headed over the handlebars... scared the shit out of me.

I don't have much fear (other than the obvious when some mollusc pulls out on me etc.) when actually riding.

Its when I am NOT riding and perhaps am remembering the ride or watching footage that I think "WTF am I doing sitting on an engine hurtling down the road??"

Cager's boxes are replete with crumple zones, climate control, air bags, seat belts, assistive driving, etc, and yet we sit on an engine with wheels. Cagers are in a cocoon. We live.

Definitely being hit by a cager. Many, many old people driving on my local roads who shouldn't be. And the use of indicators seems to be an afterthought. I'm not afraid of gravel/sand/oil/obstacles on the road because it's all too common here. And I've already crashed motorcycles twice so...

Well hello stranger. Where you been?
Moving house bro .... And trying to do normal paid moving jobs also, then home at night to sort out more stuff at new place....

Plus our internet is still down.. Using hotspot on phone to do this.... Telstra is 'supposed' to be here to fix it today... :rolleyes:o_O
