Best Motovlogging Camera?

I would Like an answer to the age-old question for the best Motovlogging camera. I want to upgrade from my Hero 3 silver and don't know where to go! Thank you~

At this point I would wait until this fall when it is rumored that the Hero5 will be out. I've read some speculations that it will be in a similar form factor as the current session. IMO the session has a fantastic form factor and would be much better for helmet mounting that the current hero4 silver or black. But with better resolutions and frame rates than the current Hero 4 session.

GoPro, preferably 3+ Black.

You can mount them on the chin which gives you the best view, and the 3 series has much better battery life than the 4 series.

I'm going to have to say the go pro (at the minute i'm using the 3+ black). I think it just looks better, although that might be bias, than the drifts and i'm not a fan of the knock off stuff.

As for upgrading, i'd wait for the hero 5 to come out.

I would have just chip in and say the Ghost S HD, cracking battery life and good video.

Although any of the top of the range stuff is good.

I'm a fan of my Garmin Virb XE. It uses a gopro mount and adds a lot of features. Prices have come down on it significantly as well.

I'm going to 2nd Jon's post and wait for the next gen GoPro to launch. Then you can make a decision on whether to get the latest and greatest....or save some $$$ on the dropped prices of the Hero 4 series. Word is the announcement will be in October???

I've only ever had the Drift Ghost, and am looking at getting a second camera to mount rearward. Did look at the Go-Pro before I purchased but in the end it all came down to the shape of the camera as the comparison videos I watched looked similar in quality from both cameras.

If you use the drift remote just get another drift camera. That way you pair it to both cameras and there instantly synced together.
