Beginner Setup - Help please

Hi, I am new to Moto V-logging and really want to get into it. I brought myself a mini sport pro helmet cam of amazon for a tenner, but the sound quality was terrible and so was the video. Basically i was wondering if anyone could help tell me a good, basic, cheap camera setup that i could use for starting v-logging. I reallly am not looking to spend much at all, as i am a student so dont have the funds for anything expensive.

ebay an old drift hd170 and buy a $20 mic or get the newer drift hd. Or a sony bloggie. Or hook a mic to your cell phone, Ive done that too... LOL!

Thanks alot for that, although the Drift HD is slightly more than i am looking to pay. If i got a Sony Bloggie, how would i fix it to my helmet as well. And also what sort of microphone do i need? Should i get a full headest or just some simple headphones with a built in mic, or a specialist mic?

I had my bloggie Velcroed to the inside of my full face. It picked up audio great without the need (or capability) of an external mic. See my older vlogs (from in search of a thermometer to right before stolen motorcycle on highway)

ok, thanks alot everyone I have just bidded (and hopefully won) on a Drift HD 720 camera, for £26 on ebay, and have found some headphones which have a built in mic, so im hoping that by connecting those up it will all work fine

When I used my cell phone I used a headphone mic. Had to wrap toilet paper around the mic for it to work. Just get a drift mic when you win the bid, trust me.
