What do you reckon chaps?

Have I got a "weather window" to nip down south and back again Tue / Weds whilst avoiding icy roads?

You're not going to do it without freezing, I can promise you that :)

Good luck all the same!

I'm planning to leave around 2pm tomorrow, and come back about 10am weds.

well it was a cold and rather dull journey, my camera got all covered in motorway gunk, and the only vaguely interesting thing that happened was this

yes, the camera is at a bad angle

but frankly, what a load of rubbish the external mic is! Very disappointed with it.
Anything above 40 it's a waste of time IMHO. I've got two lots of mufflers on it, and it's tucked up in my helmet, it's just too much noise to bother with.

Record silence. Do post processing in audacity to remove the road noise just don't talk for a few seconds and record the wind roar... Audacity noise removal does the rest.
