I'm always amazed how, even on the hottest of days, I can still catch a bit of shivers under some tree shade. It's always a welcome surprise.

Constantly. I was setting out for a nice long ride after it had rained and the roads at my house were dried. I went 3 miles to the gas station and got completely soaked. Another time I took a beautiful ride on the parkway with a visiting friend to go to wheels through time museum. about an hour into the museum visit, I hear what sounds like Niagara falls on the roof. We wait it out, find some food, get stuck at the restaurant for 2 hours because it was raining. We watched our weather apps and literally went home in the gap of two big storms. Most of the time i'm somewhere i can pull over and kill time, but occasionally i'll be in the middle of nowhere and get soaked. I've now attached a small pouch to my bike with a full rainsuit in it in case i get stuck.
