Hey guys,

Thought I'd share my editing tips with you guys that are using After Effects or similar editing programs. This is just how I do my videos.

Feel free to ask any questions and I'll answer as best I can. :)

It is definitely intimidating...that's why I haven't really tried to learn it yet haha I've messed around with some tutorials here and there, but I never went past that.

It’s interesting, you do many of the things -- footage logging, that I do, but I place the footage in Premiere once it’s logged. I love AE, and use it for my SFX, titles, and animated segments along with stabilization, and color correction. But it takes longer to render previews once you build up X-number of layers. I also like to work with transitions and edit more precisely with music and that’s faster (of me) in Premiere. AE’s seems to lag when using sound, though many people work perfectly well with it.

Great and informative video. Thanks for posting (and yes, Auto Color is a life saver).
