sup guys,
My bithday today :D ,
so.. got some extra cash so,
Am after a separate audio recorder as my external mic is kinda crap :D

Any ideas?

Agree with ariderslife, I would think it would be cheaper (and easier for editing) to just get a better external mic.

It's really not that hard to sync audio. Takes me 5 seconds. 6 if I get distracted. The trick is to do it visually, use software that 'shows' you the two audio channels. Clap 5 times at the beginning, line up the peaks, your done!

That bluetooth headset is cheap and awesome. Listen to music, chat with a friend. It comes in a set of two for $100 (I've not found it by itself). Give the other one to a riding buddy or keep it as a backup. It's rainproof. I love it! Bought it for an intercom for the wife and I. Use it now as my audio source. Bluetooth it to my phone (you may need a seperate app, not all recording software supports bluetooth). Pull the audio file from my phone. Boom!

There's a video I did a few weeks ago with this setup. I think it sounds great. Not muffled or anything else.
