Who Rides
So, I'm new to motovlogging but not completely new to editing. I'm having problems in my first edit attempts with a 'clicking sound' between videos in my timeline. back in my audio recording days this would be caused by an audio clip starting in the middle/peak of the sound wave.
The solution is to either clip the beginning and end of the video so the audio wave starts when it crosses 0, or, put a fade in and out on each split. This works well, however, takes way longer than it should when you have 30-40 splits. I have tried producing the video file but the clicks remained.
My question: does anybody else suffer from this debilitating disease? Is there something I'm missing in terms of setup/hardware/editing method or is there a function/tool anyone is aware of that eliminates this?
Setup:
Drift HD with OEM mic
PowerDirector 14
Windows 10 (standard onboard audio card with GeForce GTX 460)
Hope I haven't missed anything.
