big question.. I have just been assaulted on my bike because an idiot over took on a 30 left me no legal space he cut me up and then cause I beeped at him for putting me in danger he slammed his brakes on to then make me stop he got out his car and started coming at me aggressively and hitting me so thankful I had my helmet on. it has been reported as well will I be expecting more idiots like this? Really shook up. Sucks bad. I'm not one for violence so I wouldn't have hit him or head-butted him back. But I clearly pointed his mistake out to him as there were parked cars on the opposite side of the road incoming which caused him to cut me up closely not to mention he almost made me rear end him.

What's your guys take? :S

I'm not a violent person either but it's to be expected that sooner or later some nut will come after you. Learn a little self defense, it could never hurt. it's good that you reported it though. Got it on film?

I think some forces tend to go and visit the driver when there's no evidence to go on. I know the Met will go and see people cyclists report.

Well hopefully he will admit his fault you just don't get out your car slam your brakes on and make me emergency stop then exit your car and proceed to attack like it's terrible. From now on I think even if I ain't vlogging I will have my camera with me at all times

It's definitely worth doing your own safety is paramount and evidence would support it majorly but that won't stop you from reporting it. Hopefully after I have met the Po, and explain what happened. So they can investigate it and question the guy cause they will probs go to the A**hole
