As100 Sony Helmet Mount (too Picky?)

Probably true, but my modular helmet combined with the Sony mounting options didn't give me much choice for a clean install that can be aimed correctly. +1 on what the OP said, Sony needs to rethink their out-of-the-box mounting options. It seems like their strategy is to get you to buy-in with the camera, then you need to pony up more to get the versatile mounts.

Now, I need to decide which of my two waterproof cases will be modified for the external mic, which i still need to find. Locally sourced mic options are virtually nil.

My AS100V setup, I've changed it up a bit but the concept is still the same, I now have it set up with a chin mount but I'm still working that out

I did that too for a while and I liked it but I guess I talk with my hands to much I whacked it once and sent the camera flying while doing 50. recovered broke the lens on the case but that was it. (well that and some scratches)
