Are YOU a Public Speaker??

Public speaking, that dreaded word for some. For others it's just a skill which they have developed over a few years of practice.

What are your views on public speaking? A skill which everyone should have? or something left for the pro's?

I guess it would depend on your definition of public speaking and to what size you are referring to. Every one of us who is putting our videos online are essentially speaking to the public, just not live. I am a motorcycle safety instructor so I usually work with 12 students for 3 days, but I try to get them to do most of the speaking, in discussion form. Not sure if that really counts as public speaking.

I was more referring to formal/informal speeches in front of say 10+ people. I've spoken in front of 100 people before during the uni course.

I personally would still count discussions as public speaking but in a more informal sense, as technically you are publicly speaking..
