Always Wear Proper Gear -- Nsfw

THIS IS NOT ME, NOR DO I PERSONALLY KNOW THE PERSON INVOLVED. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD WAKE-UP CALL TO SOME OF OUR MEMBERS!

This is me right now. The only day I didn't wear my jacket. I had everything else on. If you think wearing a jacket is "too hot", then just look at these pictures. A 30 mph hit to a guardrail almost KILLED me. Think next time you ride without gear.

I kept asking EMS and Fire if I was going to die. I probably asked them 1,000 times. I really thought my life was about to end. Thank God I rode with an Army medic.... He saved my life...

This was posted on r6-forum.com. This is the danger every single one of us faces every day. You may think it is cool to ride with no gear, but you know what is cooler? Staying alive. JBlakeW from r6-forum.com was lucky to come out of this alive. He no longer rides, but who can blame him. He came within an inch of his life, and unfortunately many more aren't that lucky and don't make it at all. Remember, no one is invincible, not you, not me. Nothing improves your chances of survival more than proper gear.

Personally I agree, but some people, for whatever reason, think it's more important that they aren't told what to do.
Really an evolving species aren't we... not.o_O

You live you learn, but why dont we wear bike gear on cycles, as some can achieve quite a high speed, why do we not wear gear crossing roads, and for some instances why dont we wear gear when smashing the misses back doors in

Swings and round abouts

Holy hell. Regretting clicking on that first pic -- ATGATT for life after seeing things like that. I've only ridden "squid" a few times in extreme (well, for Toronto) heat... Feels great at the time, but only until your mind starts playing the "what if" scenarios.

I'm probably one of the few riders in my immediate area, who rides in one of those Icon Stryker Field Armor vests WITH a proper jacket over top (or on most days a 2-piece Scott suit.) How you ride is of course a personal choice, but I've known enough people who have been injured via various means -- not about to risk it myself.

Arkansas has a no helmet law in this state, and look at what happened to Bobby Petrino before he was fired at Arkansas for lying about the motorcycle accident at:
Just look at his guy's face, and Arkansas has a no helmet law, huh? Amazing isn't it? I even try to tell some of the guys that ride mopeds to wear gear, and they refuse to listen to me, until one guy gave up his moped, that was a chinese scooter, and he went down on it and got road rash from it, and was wearing dark clothes at night, and not only did he get road rash, I think he was hit by a car because he was not wearing any sort of reflective gear riding at night, even after I told him to wear a reflective vest before the accident. Now the guy sold his moped because of a battery issue and does not ride a scooter again.
As you all can see from some of my new videos, I "Rock the Hi-Viz Gear" every day I ride my motorcycle. Here is a video of a night time ride. Sorry about the wind noise, I am still working on getting a better system like the Sena Go Pro Backpack, that the dealer at the Honda Dealership forgot to order. It is at:
