(Almost) Free Mic

Since buying my bike took most of the money I had saved up, I wasn't able to buy a mic with my Sony Action Cam. So I set off on a mission to find a microphone around the house and I think I've cracked the code. You know those headphones that apple provides with iPhones and Ipod Touch's that have the microphone in them? If your camera has a 3.5mm jack, the little mic port on the control part will actually record audio. Just tape the mic in front of your mouth and tuck the earpieces in the padding and your all set. If you don't have a pair, ask your friends, the headphones don't stay in your ear to well so they would most likely be happy to give them to you. Ill try to post some pics of my set up tomorrow.

if i may say, next time turn the intro and outro music volume down xD i almost fell from my chair. the volume is good at 4:30, but the stuff directly after the intro is very quiet.

PS: good job riding on that crap snowy road xD

I absolutely love the stability control of the sony, If only the battery lasted longer :(

Yea its not that good. I bought a 3 pack of batteries on amazon for it because I was tired of it dieing when I was out. I wish you could also charge it while its recording like the Go Pros can.
