Thanks Simon! I've sadly gotten used to little buggers running in front of me, luckily I was only going 48mph. Keep it straight and stay calm I found works the best. Thanks again...thought you all might find amusement in my near heart attack moment lol

Nope no amusement at all mate, ive had my fair share of close calls with everything, some have even caused me to bin the bike, bird strikes now that's something you don't want ,had one hit the front of my bike a few year ago and it smashed the front end to bits lucky it wasn't my visor ,mini heart attacks are what keep us alive and on the edge.

I've hit a few swallows before, infact a combination of those destroyed my old lid, they're solid little buggers

glad you stayed upright, had a few of these suicidal runners too (often misses)
