Allroad Tires

So, mine Honda needs some new tires.

What do you guys recommend as allroad/allround tires?
I do daily communing on this back, as well as grass/mud/gravel etc offroading.

Already got some ideas, but im not that well known with allround tires.

I know that some of the suggestions might not be available in Europe, will work around that ;)

Thanks for the help

I've read some good reviews on the various versys forums about Heidenau K73's. Apparently they grip great. Work in the wet and off road too. I've considered them because they're cheaper than michelins and look awesome! Only problem is apparently all that grip comes from soft compound so they don't last too long. Plus I'm too much of a puss to take my versys off road anyway! !

I drive Heidenau K60 Scouts since 3 years now. It's a good allrounder even in winter.
It does all I'm able to do.

While, i'm planning to ride this winter ;)

Only problem is that i do about 15.000 to 20.000 a year, would prefer to a tire that also last some kilometers ;)

But i would check them out, thanks.

15.000 km for the rear tyre shouldn't be impossible to the K60 Scout. But depends on your style. Front tyre does almost 20.000 on my 1200 Adv.

Don't know if you get them there, but Mitas E07 or E09 are very popular around here and they apparently last a long time too (12k - 20k km's on big ADV bikes). Can't speak from experience but they are apparently very good in all conditions on and off-road (within limits of course). Take note that I am relaying the experiences of people who live in a country where it does not get very cold and there is never ice on the roads.

While I haven't used them myself, I've heard good things about Avon Trailrider's. They may be too road biased for your needs though.

So, I ordered some K60, by tire size the option was limited to the M+S, so no scout.

Well see the results soon, hopefully i can fit them Tuesday, otherwise i will have to wait until Saturday.
Will be a good period to check these out, with the winter upcoming;)
