Adsense not updating. Anyone else?

Just because people make money doing it doesn't mean it's a money grab. Most of the people I watch don't really seem to care much about the money or they would do what makes money, wheelies and screaming at bad drivers and acting like an idiot. People like that shit for some reason.

For me I couldn't care less about making money from motovlogging. I have another channel that I do care about money-wise though because it makes a lot more and I actually put a lot of work into it. I'm glad they changed it because its easier to tell how much my motovlogging channel is making and separate it from my other channels.

I think a lot motovloggers lately are more concerned with fame than money.

Respectfully disagree,

In the beginning for me i will admit it was more about the subs, but money was something i had never thought about making out of videos......we make a choice to edit and upload videos and to get any money out of the videos we upload is just a bonus.

There are those "motovloggers" who upload close call, wheelies
screaming at bad drivers and acting like an idiot
even some who upload other peoples videos and make revenue out of it, it's becoming more common and a part of the motovlogging community that i dislike greatly. I personally think the whole internet fame goes to some peoples heads.

We need more people like you to hang around mate,,,,,motovlogging has started to become a bit of a money grab these days...
Thanks. I've been around since well before the partner days, even before M13 started offering Pay-per-view series'. I've never really liked the thought of asking people to send me money, or buy things from me. But then, I don't have a very big ego either, so maybe that's why.

In fact, I've always had a sore spot for people who have donation buttons on their page, or run bots to up their counts, all that shit just bugs me. I got into the vlogging scene just to be a part of the community. The place where I started had a much more tight-nit community than YT ever had, and now our little section is way too big to ever compare to what once was. I think that's part of the reason why I get put off of a lot of people. So many are in it for themselves, for whatever reason, rather than being in it for the friends and community aspect.

I've made that same complaint before. I miss the old LV days.

The number of people who will know what I'm talking about is depressing. I don't miss the popularity I had at the time though. That was a lotta work and frankly it was kind of annoying when people referred to me as the biggest star there at a meetup. Other than that crap, it was a whole lot of fun.

I hope you guys arnt jealous of the funny learner riders that appeal to the young masses and are doing well? And really who gives a flying hoot if theyre cashing in in other ways? You dont have to send them money. I know I havnt.
I think the growing number of motovloggers out there provides plenty of opportunity for you more experienced riders to be more involved than ever...make video responses to help and encourage riders all over the world. You can be encouraging them, tell them theyre funny, tell them theyre doing good things, offer helpful advice, answer their questions, offer technical help. If you see something shit or bad, just avoid it and dont comment. No one really wants some older rider talking them down and saying how much better it used to be and that the youth of today sucks arse.
Reminiscing about how it used to be isnt really a fun activity.
Now I want to see Kryten wheelie his new CanAm (or borrow it again and set it on fire) and Trinith vlog about his favorite vloggers and whats good about them. And Crakn81... just make sure your at our next meet!

tbh I've always seen it as none of my business if people are making money from their content, if I'm not being forced to watch the videos then who really needs to know?

so my adsesne which displays in pounds stirling, isn't updating, youtube is updating in dollars, when and if the time comes to withdraw my money, if hell freezes over and I earn enough, do I get the money from?

YouTube's Adsense program has always has its little hiccups and Its known to skip a day or to then update the details a few days later. when you think of the billions of views generated every day, you can never expect it to run 100% all the time..

As for earning money, what i believe is If you have a passion, and you can make some coin out of your hobby/ Passion, then thats a bonus!. So there a few vloggers out there who earn over $500 a month from YouTube Adsense, m13 decided to make a living out of it, thats good. That shows there is a man who seen he has a passion for bikes, and found a way to combine the 2 - ( Income and Bikes )

(Below is going a bit off topic)

I for one will never want to stop growing my channel, I love making vids and i am always looking at ways to combine and reuse my videos in ways the audience will be entertained and incited.
I have noticed the amount of effort i put into my editing and thinking of good content proves that you do ( in the long run ) get back what you put in.

You were DEFINITELY "the star" at the first Ozark meetup. Like it or not!

Hah, I find that hard to believe. There weren't enough of us for it to really matter though.

Did anyone else's youtube analytics skip the 6th of May?
I just sent a message to google asking about it. Here is that message:

I'm looking at my youtube analytics and for some reason May 6 2013 is not showing up?(It jumps from May5th to May7th) I know that we had that day here on Earth because I lived it and it was a pretty good one. Is it possible that maybe my youtube account has encountered an internet time warp and just completely skipped an entire 24hr day? If so will I still be getting my $20+ dollars that I was suppose to have made on the 6th, or do time warps make adsense $$$ null and void for any time affected by said warp?

Can someone plz go check their estimated earning so far this month and let me know if you can see any info listed for the 6th of May?

I have nothing for May 6th. This is actually pretty common. It will update in a few days.

You would think a company like Google could make thinks work much better than they usually do.

Awesome...(not awesome that it's not updating, but that I'm not alone in this and you checked for me. lol) It's good to know that it happens sometimes, as I literally just started checking analytics after adsense stopped updated the $$$.
I now have adsense set to my homepage on chrome so that when my task manager opens chrome every night at 1:58am I'll get a good idea how much $$$ I made for the day by just checking the click count.

Thanks for the reply Kryten
