Just wondering is Adobe Premiere Pro CC worth the purchase?

Frequent user. Best video editor I have seen so far. The subscription model makes it kinda expensive, but its worth it for me.

I've got Premiere Elements 14 and that does pretty much everything I need it to. The CC subscription put me off, just a little too expensive for me right now as a small channel.

The only downside for me is that motion tracking in PE14 doesn't seem to work, seems to be a fairly common problem but no real solution.

I only have Photoshop and Lightroom CC, but my buddy pays for the whole suite. It's a GREAT program, but I still use Sony Vegas at home for most things.

It's definitely worth it! Full time After effects and Premiere pro here Your other bet is FCPX. Apart from that there's some Autodesk solutions and The Foundry and also DaVinci makes an editor. All more expensive and targeted at niche profesisonals

I love adobe CC but the package with premiere pro is just too expensive when paying monthly. It's a great program but for motovlogs it's not really needed.

I use FCPX which is also expensive but it's a one off cost and not really needed but I enjoy using it. It's limited to Mac which is a bit of a ball ache as I'm kind o turning away from Apple at the minute but it's a really simple to use program. Looking forward to seeing how the new MacBook OLED bar works with it.

Sadly if you want the new version you have to pay monthly for it. If you want an older version you might be able to find one that you can buy straight up.

Personally I use Sony Vegas which is a lot cheaper and is good enough for me.

Well there are ways to get it for free. But Microsoft is shutting down and reporting on pirated software now.

Yeh it looks like I'm going to premiere pro now since there's no way I'm paying for a new Mac and Final Cut Pro was the last thing keeping me there. It's awesome until you realise that most top range laptops have full touchscreen now.

I wouldn't touch the Macs. Their new laptop line isn't worth the money imo and they don't even allow you to upgrade the memory if you wanted to. It's all propitiatory on the inside!
