There are people out there who genuinely hate anyone on a motorcycle. Lurch mentioned self-righteousness and a tendency toward asocial behavior and I think that's spot on. They have no conscience about maiming or killing someone if they feel their feelings are justified. A guy I used to chat with online got hit by a lady in a cage and put in the hospital. She saw him and hit him anyway. On purpose! When the cops got there, her response to being asked why she didn't stop was "Those things don't belong on the road!" Then she went to jail. It made it real to me that there are people out there on the road with us that are just that fucked up.

Yeah, it's one thing to do something reckless that could potentially kill someone. It's another thing to run someone smooth over out of hate. It's a perfect example of sociopath vs. psychopath. A sociopath will sell you a snuff film. A psychopath will make one.
