I don't want to sound patronising but this video might help. I know when I first started riding my RS I was just knocking it down the box, ended up needing a new gear selector within 3months. Just slightly blipping the throttle will help alot with a 2T.

Great Vid aswell, loving Rs 50,125 2T would highly recomend for a first bike.

not an aprilia though :P my changes are normally quite smooth just it's a new bike. Still shifting like it was the Aprillia. the old bike had much shorter gears and riding position meant a shorter gear shift travel. and the clutch lever travel is different too. but thanks for the tips, will definatly watch.
