A Question For those with over 1k subs, when did you start to notice your channel really starting take off as such?

I now have 2k something which is a nice feeling I guess but I'm trying to discover if people just sub because of numbers, not the videos these days?

It seems to be that once you hit a few hundred then people sub just because of that? Like sheep lol

This is a guess as I have no knowledge of such things: Analytics should help you work out if they are watching your videos vs. acting like sheep.
