Well this should be fun. 2012 Ducati 796 Hypermotard bought on salvage insurance auction which by the way was quite a racket that I'll go into later.

Bike needs some TLC but runs and sounds great, over all not much wrong with it. A buddy and I used a single ramp and shoved it right up and into the truck.

Going to go through the whole process of rehabbing and getting it back on the street. Funny enough I found the dealer who sold it only a few months ago. Only 2k miles were put on it before what looks like a long low side pavement grinder.

Thanks all, got it back home and started right in. As suspected a few extra small things found through disassembly but overall looks good! Was able to get just about every part I needed through forums and fleabay!

How much are you looking at moneywise for repairs?

I have $2k budgeted but am on a good track to come under that, we'll see.

Got a bunch of parts needed, mis ordered some bars, patience is definitely needed on these projects!

Is that the carbon with the red fleck though it. Have a mate with one thats like that looks awesome.

Just the red with white accent. Funny enough the bike came with the carbon panels but they need to be fixed/painted although some spots can be left raw which would be nice.

Might not look like it but lots of progress. Still waiting on some parts as well as the title. The company's systems showed I never picked the bike up and called me to tell me that I owed $400 in storage fees Clearly their mixup but that meant they didn't even start the paperwork will nearly a month later

Welp, got a plate for this thing! Lots of hoops to jump through and some small details to finish up but she's road legal and ready to get at it. Content coming soon, test rides indicate a fun bike
