I never fill up there unless emergency anyway, 90% of the time i only use shell... BP such a rip off where i live

That's complete bullshit and you really should chase it up with BP HQ.

On a smiliar note I remember the first time I encountered a filling station that refused to activate the pump unless I removed my helmet (cue snarky shout over the tannoy). I was visiting a friend over in Nottingham and had never encountered that before.

When I asked in the kiosk if they withhold service from women wearing niqabs or burqas they had no reply but still wouldn't play. I guess what I learned is that sometimes we have to concede to petty tyrranies, regardless of logic or reason.

yeah ive had them ask me to take off my helmet a few times, which i don't mind really as i can see the reasons behind why they would ask it, especially if you're going in to the shop to pay for the fuel then it's acceptable, but what i dont agree with is when we get asked to remove helmets the muslims don't have to remove their burqas, that's stupid.
