Well two years ago today I passed module 2 of my full test, and that means that today the 33hp restriction is up!
I phoned my insurer and confirmed I was going to derestrict it, they said that was fine and, even better, my premium stays the same. So I went out and removed the restrictor, then gave my bike a good wash and check over to reward it for putting up with having a noose around its neck for 6 months.
So now I am free! I'm looking forward to reviewing some 600cc sportbikes this year, up until now I've only been able to review bikes up to 33hp so it will be good to try more.
The 2 years went by pretty quickly, and even though 33hp is enough to have fun, 90hp is even better![Smile :) :)](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png)
