General 2nd Motovlog - I Discuss My Camera / Mic Setup

Here's number 2! Spent quite a bit of time editing this one b/c I did it through an Adobe Premiere Pro trial so there was a learning curve. I think I'm hooked on Premiere though, so easy to edit once you know the controls. I actually recorded 3 vlogs on Saturday but it'll be a bit before I can edit the other one as I'm going out of town again today. I've got a demo video and just some general mountain riding to edit.

Let me know your thoughts!

I guess it's just the technology built into the sena. When I call people on the phone they have no idea I'm on the bike.

I get "wait, you're on the bike? Now?"
Well, I guess you get what you pay for.

I used an old PC headphone set, like for Skype, and simply ripped out the mic to stuff it in my helmet. It does a great job at capturing my voice... and the engine, and the turn signal indicator beep, and the horns of passerbys... you get the picture.

Your setup looks and sounds pretty good!! Your voice is very clear but just a little bit quiet - which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just turned the volume up a little!! Safe riding out there brutha!!

I'm playing around with overall volume on my next vlog, which should be out tomorrow. I think I did a better job speaking into the mike b/c the sound volume is a bit high. I've read that in Adobe Premiere Pro you should aim to have your volume peak around -12 (I've lowered it to hit -12 instead of -4) so I'll be curious if you watch the next one what you think.
