First, thanks for sharing your vlog. I really enjoy these early morning vlogs normally shot on the way to work. The sky is always so moody during the twilight hours and the motorways start coming to life. Two points, which you have ready commented on. The picture quality is poor. At first I thought it was because the waterproof case housing your Sony was fogged Up by condensation. However, you comment that the deterioration in quality followed compression. Also the sound quality was bad to the extent that I strugled to hear most of what you said. I look forward to following you vlogs. Regards.

Being so cold, there was some fogging on the outdide, thus the starburst effect on all the lights, but the compression did it no favours. I do have almost two weeks of daylight footage on hand though that is much better quality, and will cut that into probably two clips over the next couple of days. In the last week I've also been using different sound processing, which should yield better results, but I need to work on mic placement too.
