RIDE ON GUYS!

Cool, I'm new here too. Looks like a pretty cool community here. Vlog looks good and that is a beast of a bike you have there

Why is it when someone mentions they ride a GS500 the next thing said is "at least you are able to ride" FFS people the GS500 is such an underated bike,
If looked after they will outlast anything else on the road.
Yes I do own one, I also own a V-Strom and a GSXR but the GS is such a good bike I couldnt bare to part with it.

I didn't mean it in that way, i actually don't even know what a GS500 is lol.. i was just saying who cares what you ride whether it be a r1, hyabusa, or a moped, he is still on 2 wheels which is all that matters. i didn't mean to sound like i was talking down on it!
Sorry!

hahahaha i just looked up some youtube videos on them, thanks for the pics. i feel enlightened now! That bike actually looks quite fun haha! it isn't slow by any means either!

Yeah the GS500 is an amazing bike. Mine carried myself, a passenger and everything you need to camp for a month around the south of Europe. It carried excessive weight, did a creek crossing and even survived my learner riding.

Wow! That's a journey! I've always wanted to do that haha. I feel like my back would be broken if I road that far on my gsxr though

Nice vlog man very well done especially for your first one I know mine was filled with a ton of "uh" and "ahh" I think you have a good future going on. Yes the GS500 is a beast was my first bike and I traded it for the striple but I won't lie if I had the money I would buy it back from the dealer I loved that bike even though I had problems with the carbs it was still very reliable.

Thanks for that man! i appreciate it. I was surprised i was able to even think during that video lol, ive never talked and ridden before! haha.

I've got some topics lined up, hopefully people begin to watch!

How often do you guys upload videos?

Yeah it is a little dicey the first time helps if you have a topic and practice what you want to say before hand but you'll end up doing a vlog twice sometimes even more just to make sure you like the way it came out then editing for an hour or two to make it perfect a little challenging but very fun.

I've been uploading twice a weekish but I've dialed it down just because it seems like people are getting a little flooded with videos and its getting hard to keep consistent so I'm going to be dialing down to one video a week until the demand goes back up. Honestly though post a few videos and see how quickly they're watched and people sub to you and adjust accordingly so it fits your viewers and your time the latter being most important once you hit burn out it's hard to recover from.

Gotcha, yeah i had a somewhat big subscriber base already but its from my other car related videos, ive gained a few subscribers so far from my first vlog video. i think i may post twice a week and see how that goes. also i was trying to figure out the best length of a vlog...8-10 minutes?

I loved filming my first video, i actually can't wait for the next one hopefully today or tomorrow!

I think the sweet spot is about 8-9 mins but if your familiar with analytics you can go through your vlogs as you go and see when the viewers stop watching that's really the best some people can watch a video from someone they love for hours and some people can only take you in short doses. Also ask your subs not saying you should change your channel for people other than you but I like to see how I'm doing from my subs perspective helps me improve my videos and its cool to interactive with them.

Gotcha! Well, I'm uploading another right now, i was able to get out and ride today. the weather held off haha!
Came out to 10 minutes...i think next time I'm going to shoot for a 6-8 minute one and see how the views compare.

I just subscribed to you! Good to see another youngin on here. haha. I just turned 19 2 weeks ago. I get the same thing that you were talking about in the beginning of the video. "Why is this kid riding this big bike?!" lol. I ride a Yamaha Roadstar Warrior 1700cc. Let's be good examples and show everybody that us young ones are capable of self control, and we can be mature too.
