I think maybe this is part of your problem. You already have an opinion and defending it is more important than listening to others and possibly changing your opinion. That would mean you were wrong. This is the problem with a lot of people these days. Winning the argument is more important than getting to the truth. This is why the world is in such a mess these days. Of course that's just my opinion and nothing you say can change it.

Go have some crumpets and tea (with milk in it, gross!) and maybe some of those little things you guys call biscuits and relax. I don't really mind upsetting you because the worst that can happen is you'll go out into the street and yell at people until a bobby stops by to give you a stern talking to and a caution for breaching the Queen's peace. Don't get upset. I'm just taking the piss! Pip, pip cheerio, mate!

No you got it wrong. I see thing from all perspectives but in this case why on British news is there a storie about police killing people!
I am not saying the police a're killing people for fun or just because they can??
Why is that?
That's my question police seem to be killing people, well even normal citizens are to.
And very funny!!!!! Lol

Why are there stories on British news of cops killing people in the US? Maybe because nothing else interesting is going on in the world and bad news sells. I'm not saying there isn't an increase in gun violence and police brutality lately but it's not as big of a spike as some people seem to think. Things like this have been happening since people figured out how to use flammable materiel to force metal shards out of a tubes. It's just a lot easier for stories to spread now. These things used to stay mostly local. Now with the internet and social media things get passed around almost instantly. People are conditioned to be afraid of everything and so they pass around these scary stories to "warn and protect" their friends and family. Which in turn makes them even more scared. It's a vicious cycle of pussies scaring and creating more pussies until the whole world is just one big cosmic twat.

While a lot of Brits myself included are shocked by this its not that uncommon in the world where guns are available freely.

The only way to stop or reduce it is to take guns out of the equation, saying that though countries that have guns freely available have a mind set about owning them and the security they provide. So I don't hold my breath on that.

As for the Cop involved... well the full story isn't out yet. But if some one levels a gun or what you think to be a gun at you or other innocents you are going to shoot to preserve life regardless of their age. Until non deadly weapons are developed that are 100% safe and reliable it's what we have to deal with, tragic as it is.
 
Well.... here, in this square, squarely planted by the seaside (Portugal), we got the OPPOSITE.

Just... just read this fully.
A convicted felon,
currently escaped from prison,
went on a robbery, and took his 12-y-old son with him
got busted, started a police chase
Going at high speed through one-way streets (the wrong way), inside a town
Tries to run over a cop
said cop barely doges out of the way,
tries to shoot the van's tires.
hits the kid that was inside the van's cargo area (with no windows), kills the kid.
Remember, he could not see the kid, as he was in the cargo area of a closed van with no rear windows.

Result?
Cop gets NINE years of EFFECTIVE PRISON.
Has to pay 80'000 € to the kids' father

yey portugal! Country were convicted felons stay as mayors behind bars, then get elected AGAIN while behind bars (through a proxie politician), and where we jail cops for accidently shooting felons.
In unrelated news, a guy that stabbed his girlfriend 32 times (she barely survived) got away with a 10month sentence cause "he wasn't trying to kill her". (what? was he trying to turn her into a colander/strainer?)

Skip to 5:20 for this actual topic.. where he completely ignores what he actually posted and goes off on a tangent about freedom of speech.

If you can't admit to the fact that you posted something that could have been construed as racism, then there is something wrong. If you can actually stand by what you posted, then you should've left it there for people to take their own meaning from it as they see fit. To me, it looked like a post where you generalised a whole nation based on one police officer's split second decision; it looked like you were trying to start something. I may have taken that meaning from your piss-poor use of the English language, and lack of coherent sentence structure.

But then again, what do I know... I'm apparently a "moron".
