Will you sell your 125, using the funds towards a bigger bike? What do you currently use your 125 for?

I ride a 600cc Supersport, which I use for basically everything. Riding at the weekend/evening, plus have been used it to "commute" to work too.

However, I've recently been thinking about picking up a 125cc bike, JUST for the commuting. It's a bit of a waste using a big bike for mostly urban 30mph commuting / filtering (where you don't get to open it up at all).

The 'big bike' DOES have road presence through, the noise plus size, so cagers tend to move out of the way for you - plus you can still outpace any vehicle who might try it on.

Don't get me wrong, I love my big bike and wont be selling it, but possibly not the tool for 'every' job.

I kept my 125 to use purely as a commuter bike and would recommend to anyone else that has the space for 2 bikes and the budget to run 2 bikes to keep theirs.

I started on a 150, sold it a while back for the DRZ400SM. Can't afford to keep 2 bikes because of upkeep costs, but i'll probably by a 50cc mini-moto or an electric one to fool around on because those don't require any form of regulation.
