Greetings everyone!
I just bought my self an easy pull clutch lever and perch assembly and never knew about this switch until I've taken everything out from the stock stuff. I did a bit of research on this but most of the things I found were people trying/wanted to bypass it.
My question is, how can I keep the functionality of this switch after installing the new clutch system? Or has anyone done this?
My initial though would be to customize one to attach to the new clutch lever assembly, but that would take a bit of work. Others have suggested to just leave it unattached and it would require me to be able to start the bike only in neutral (which is not a big deal IMO)
OR
splice them and connect to each other for a closed circuit which will then allow me to start the bike even if it's in gear without the clutch pulled in and turn my bike to a slow moving projectile if it happens to be the case.
Perhaps I will just leave them unattached.
Your thoughts, opinions, suggestions appreciated.
Thanks!
