I want to do some more offroad work on my bike but im struggling to find much information without joining a group.

does anyone from the UK (pref Derby area) have and tips and info for what to look for and how to go about this?

Thank you I had looked at both of these and didnt like what they said so I found online access to my local definitive map and questioned them via email about some routes I’d like to take that are not marked correctly waiting for a reply now.

Here in the Netherlands I bought a servicemap, it shows all the roads, including the dirt ones and the ones that technically aren't a road but are just by maintance people from the goverment.

Same type of map like Spicy uses in the UK

Ordinance survey maps are meant to be good (my friend uses them) I'm toying with the idea of getting a crf250 so am interested in a bit of green lane myself

Here they show everything considered a road (so legal for car to drive on), even the ones that are closed for public use.
