Best Budget Vlogging Setup?

Hi all, this isnt supposed to be a 'what am bestest camra' thread, im just starting to vlog (aka record my inane ramblings). At the moment im using an F9 and recording audio on my phone. Not ideal.

So im looking for help choosing a half decent 'proper' camera, I have a budget of 150 and my only requirement is a mic-in.
I have spent hours scouring ebay, youtube etc and i'm at a loss. The plan was to get an SJ4000 they dont have an external mic option?

Any help would be appreciated

Sony AS15/30 are pretty cheap and will take mic inputs. Things like the SJ4000 are good cameras, but no audio facility.

Or buy a used Drift/GoPro as both are tried and tested technology.

Mics can be got for a few pounds or dollars off eBay.

Pawn shops for a gopro, drift or Sony... Saw an as30 for $60 a couple weeks ago...and haggle

£2 Neewar mic connected to your phone and an SJC SJ4000 Action Camera for £35

Bloomin' great quality for less than £40! Motovlogging doesn't need to be expensive.

Thanks for the replies guys. Any info is gratefully received.
SwissMotard my first plan was for an sj4000 but they don't have a mic input and I've found loading and syncing audio from my phone to be beyond my meagre skills.

What editing program are you using? beep your horn when you record or clap your hands to sync.

You will have to spend double for the same quality camera with a mic input unless you go second hand.

I would suggest to source a used Hero2, then skeleton housing (you can be creative to fill up the gap after inserting your mic jack to make it more water resistant, it won't be waterproof), go for an imitation housing to cut cost. Best (budget) way to go.

The Hero2 video colors are quite nice. Only downside is that low light and night shots are not good.

What mic and how to place it, that's on you to trial and error.

Camera: TCL SVC200 Cost me £80, its about the best you can get for under £100 with a mic input.
Not tested at night yet thought, i suspect that might be where it lets me down!

Swiss, at the moment I'm having to use wevideo on a chromebook. Would be OK if my Internet speed wasnt prehistoric.
08ride, good call on the Garmin, looks ideal, thanks mate.

I've just picked up a Sony AS30, external mic input, full 1080p60, waterproof housing and 3 mounts for £120 from eBay
Paid £16 for a 32GB 50mbps micro SD (Good for 320mins at full HD), and £7 for a lapel mic which I've adapted to use with my open face helmet (yet to be tested)
And paid £3 for some 3M Industrial Strength Velcro to stick it on the side of my helmet.
Combine that with Windows Movie Maker (which isnt the best i know but it gets you started) and you've got a full setup for under £150
Which in my book is an absolute bargain considering the latest GoPro is £350ish

Thanks for all the replies guys, all very helpful.
Can anyone recommend editing software? Must be idiot proof and easy to edit from 2 or 3 cameras?
(using the f9 for alternate angles and car clogging)
