New Motovlogger Help

GHOSTNINJA

Lets do this!
So I crashed my bike and am sitting here with nothing to do because I cant really walk. I am all good! But I figured hey, maybe I can offer some advice to new motovloggers. Not like I am a big motovolgger but if you have questions on youtube, motovlogging, analytic, or anything motovogger related let me know. We can chat in a private hangout.

Damn dude. Hope you heal up quick! Now for the important question, how is the bike?
Yea, knee is a little jacked up but ill heal. The bike, I am waiting for the word to see what they plan to do. I put some pics of it up on IG if you want to see the damage :(

sucks you went down man. get better soon and get back on two before the snow hits lol

OK as a new motovlogger I have a question you might be able to help me with.

I'm trying to get something decent together for my first one. Problem is when I think about what I want to say in my head its all fine.

Once I get out on the bike I get all camera shy and hardly say a word. I think I feel weird talking to myself. Got any tips to overcome this problem.

Do it bit by bit, edit together the bits that worked, play it back, then go try doing it in more or less one.

That was what I was thinking but didn't want something all cut up when riding.

Will give it another go on the weekend and see what I can come up with. Think I just need to put up what I have and work on it from there.

Have to start somewhere after all.

Yup! Just remember because you recorded and efited it, doesn't mean you have to publish it, and it can be a rough edit too.

You are not alone, a lot of people have this at first. I would suggest you ride around with no camera and just talk to yourself for about a week. Pretend that you are making motovlogs. It helps get past that awkwardness at first. Then introduce your camera. Remember you have the power to edit out everything you don't want people to see. So if something does not sound right, say it again, or as in my case again, and again, and again haha.

Take your Time Lupin, you will get better as time goes on, I've only been at this for a year now and when I go back to some of my early videos I CRINGE, for so many reasons you will get better.

Speed recovery bro.

I think I have the same problem as Lupin too. Still getting the hang of it. Im tempted to go for some advances phonics class or something to improve the way I speak. Hehehe

Or do I have to run from a cop, crash my bike, or do a wheelie with four girls on the back of my bike to get views???

I recommend getting hit by a car. That put my subs over the 1000 mark lol. Gave me about 60,000 additional views, too! My regular motovlogs get between 20 and 300 each by comparison.

Seriously, though. It just takes time. If you have good content, keep producing content regularly and it keeps people interested, you will get more views and subs. I've been vlogging (not necessarily motovlogging) on my channel since 2011 and it just built little by little and then there was that "one" video that kicked it in the butt.

I was in the opposite lane that she was and she literally crossed the double yellows and hit me

See, if you'd had a GoPro on, you'd be a YouTube celebrity now! No need to worry about me. I gave out more damage than I took. Taught me to watch for vehicles crossing lanes, though!
