I've been talking to a lot traffic safety officers and ex police here in the U.S. I wouldn't ride around with it on the fade setting in the video but I've been riding around with it set to Green fading on/off slowly and have gotten a lot of compliments on visibility and ZERO stops by police thus far. At the end of the day it's true purpose is to improve rider visibility and in doing so improve safety
