Premises Vs Dominos. Could Have Been Avoided?

If hecwas unsettled the stopping is fair enough, a different reaction when the pizza pricks pulled by P187 may have diffused the situation immediately, although I'm not so sure with their attitude. It's not an uncommon reaction by a rider that's had someone fly up to a junction like that, and if the pizza guys were going to head the other way they shouldn't have come after him, although their road position at the junction wasn't great for turning right.

As with any incident, in most cases both parties could have done more to avoid it, and in this case not to aggravate it. If another biker had come in hot to the junction, I would expect that they'd have pulled over and apologised. Thise who ride on L plates for a job are less likely to have the same mentality as those who choose to ride.

I do think that companies that allow platers to ride for them should offer more training than just the CBT. I know Pizza Hut in Leeds send their riders for extra training at one of the rider schools, and having seen them ride, they appear to be quite safe and sensible. Unless it's all gone a bit wrong, you really shouldn't approach a junction at that speed, get it wrong and there's nothing left in reserve.

So in short, if there's two avoid confrontation, same if there's one, but if you own a delivery company running 125s, make sure your riders can ride and behave appropriately!

Premises didn't stop to catch his breath. He has had those close calls before and just carried on. But that's the art of entertainment and reporting - something may happen and you want to catch it on camera.

I seriously do hope the dominoes gang get busted by work. The only way to negate bullies is to stand up to them, and P187 can do that now, and these lads were big enough to warrant running from.

Ofcourse it could have been avoided, but then it would just have been a standard video about dominos employing douchebag undertrained pizza deliverers.

I've always found P187 to be overly angry and aggressive. Somebody blowing up to a junction like that is no reason to start screaming and shouting. Look ahead, protect yourself and keep making progress.

He was stopping to push a confrontation and this time he got one. I'm not saying that the Dominos plonkers weren't WAY out of line but this was a big situation that came out of a nothing event.

Win/win for P187 though. We're all talking about it and the view count will continue to rocket!

Goes in the same box as "I nearly died today (because i put myself in a stupid position)" videos for me though. Bottom of the 'to view' list.

But of course opinions are like a-holes. We've all got one and many will think mine stinks. ..

Meant to comment on his road position. Bit too far left for normal riding, centre to right of centre of the lane is best, gives you a better view and keeps you away from creepers and overshooters.

If you ride defensively you could avoid or at least minimise such encounters, I guess maybe that's one of his objectives, either for the adrenalin or views (maybe both, who knows). Junctions are always a potential death trap, no point to be speeding through one. If it was an honest encounter, glad he is alright. If this was intentionally staged (or set up to be one), then those delivery guys should have beaten him up good.

I have nothing against the guy, but I'm just sick of "staged" stuff.

RSSR!

I've had so many close calls and not once have I stopped to compose myself. I personally think this was done knowing the guys were going to come passed him so he could antagonise as he so often does in his vids. As andyman says he's quite overly aggressive and angry which helps view counts for some reason.

Dominos drivers were cunts though and could have just gone on their way. It'll all be swept under the carpet by dominos anyway and his view count will continue to rise.

Love how after they've backed off he still gives them some shit trying to get a bigger reaction. Lucky the guys were drivers for a company and not some nutter scooter scrote boys with knives.

All in all, this could've been dealt with better by both parties.

Go looking for trouble and you'll find it, unfortunately you don't know when it's gonna be something you can't handle, like what that was.

I just don't understand why the Domino drivers got angry so fast. They got in his face so fast. Fuck those guys.+

Have you guys ever seen Jimmy Johns delivery cars? I swear, i sometimes think they only hired GP drivers for their deliveries xD

Not wanting to judge Premises too early based on one clip, I thought I would watch a few of his others.
He's a very aggressive rider and similar to Snowcat seems to want stuff to happen and goes out of his way to make it happen
I'm not saying he wants to have an off, nobody wants that, but it does seem that he doesnt pay enough attention or forward plan (as we are taught) and expects everyone to abide by every rule going all of the time. Not the way to ride and I'm pretty sure if he carries on the way he is he'll have an off before long. Hopefully he realises before its too late and sorts his riding style out.

If he didn't flip them off - no video would have been posted.

That being said, they should not have attacked him in their work uniform.

Just like that other video, It seems like there's stuff missing but a good view grabber non the less, Seems to me like he wanted a fight then poo'd when he got one....
