Recording Bike To Bike Come With Drift

BlackMamba

WINNER!
Hay is any one running a coms system for bike-to-bike coms that records both parts of the conversation to a drift? It also give play back in both helmets?

If anyone uses or knows of a system or how to make one please let me know!

Haven't heard of any system that hooks up to the drift. The only system I know of is Sena's for the GoPro.

Cost is a big issue there, sounds good tho. Going to have to pop down to my local sparky shop and get some bits...
I can splice some cable to make my mic and speaker both go to the drift so my voice will be as normal but the person on the radio will lose quality also with this I will be able to still speak to the drift with out the person. Need to figure out what radios I’m going to use 1st so I can plot the signal paths and what needs splicing where. I will have to make the loom for the speaker and mic and connections and push to talk my self tho.

hmmm maybe a adjustable preamp for both mic and radio output before they line in to the drift? so you can tweak the levels externally?

I think iv cracked it. going to buy the parts asap it will all be in a little black box with 2 knobs for volume balancing and a switch for power on it with 2 leads in 2 lead out!

You could always just place the helmet speaker near your drift mic and then it will record what the other person says. Then all you have to do is add their video and use your audio.

I do it with 2 mics and a pot (because 2 mics reduces the resistance and they peak out). Records perfectly.

A friend told me the latest Sena BT stuffs comes with such features, I guess they see the potential in wooing the Motovlog community. I don't have the full details, I think it's the 10C. Will probably cost a bomb.
