There's also no need as the Street Triple, especially the older models, are famous of power wheelies at almost any rpm.

... I just don't understand why motorcycle manufacturers keep getting larger and larger with the mufflers they're putting on bikes. That thing is huge.

I can't believe it's aesthetics, maybe it is, but I'm guessing a lot will be to do with emission and noise control, especially over here in the EU.

RJ weighed one of his stock exhausts vs an Arkapovic system and the weight saving was significant. Double digit kilograms.

Yeah it's all the regulations that have encouraged the under belly exhausts recently too, as it's easier to add all the massive and heavy equipment needed to meet emissions around that area.

I enjoy watching someone else ride the H2, but that just isn't the right bike for me, or for where I live. I'm also glad to not take the depreciation hit for riding that bike! Wonder what they will be worth in 5 years un-ridden vs. ridden.

Same, it would be useless for the mountains where I live.

It's a limited run item, so it probably won't depreciate much.

Purely emissions + sound. You could have a smaller muffler that would meet sound, but then the huge catalytic converter balloons up the rest. You should see the Japanese Diavel mufflers. They're hilariously long.
