Photography From Motorcycle

I do a lot of photography from the back of my bike.

While not technically vlogging, I still get some really interesting shots. I love driving around, hunting for for fascinating snapshots of Indian life. Got a backpack with a handy side-pouch for my 'real' camera. When something cool happens, I'll stop and whip it out for a quick pic.

This is where the Guerrilla Moto Photo (GuMoPo) idea comes from - using inexpensive, street-level tactics to capture honest slices of life in a part of the world most will never experience.

I currently shoot with a Sony a6000 body and a 50mm F1.8 lens.

Are there any other photographers here? I'd love to see your work.

I use a Lowepro CompuDay 250 backpack. It has space for my laptop and basic gear like a poncho, and a very versatile side-pouch for quick access to your camera.

What a great idea! You have some awesome photos there and being on a bike definitely would allow you to get up and close to a lot of situations.

I love it.

My camera will record GPS... but only when I sync it through the phone.

Maybe better would be the GPS in my actioncam. Hmm. Let me see what I can do.

I want to be able to click whatever I am looking at through a swappable lens.

Perhaps something like the QX1. You can mount the sensor on your helmet, and then put whatever lens you want on it.

Wow, man, that's a really cool idea! And those are nice photos! I do that while mountaineering with my Pentax K-50, but not on my bike. You gave me a good idea! I'll keep you updated.
