Back Pack??

So I am getting out of the Military in 30 days or so and was wondering what everyone that uses back packs, uses?
As of yet I only use the baby poo green stuff the Army has given me. But since I will be going BACK to school soon I thought I may need to spoil myself with something that looks a little better.
My bags to have MAD storage, but if I honestly filled them up all the way I would not be able to ride. It would be 100 pounds or better.

Any and all ideas and pictures if you are willing are more than welcome!!!!
Ride safe!!

Can't remember the exact model but I had a joe rocket back pack that was really nice I used it for school. Now I have an actual tail bag that I use since I'm no longer in school.

Ogio Mach 5 seems to be rearing its head of late.
I actually bought one of these recently and it was great. However, I returned it because I couldn't justify the 160 dollars.

One thing to note about the Mach series is that it's not a great backpack for school. It doesn't have enough compartments to store things, it's more like one big shell and you sort of just toss things into it.

What bike do you ride? Reason I ask is, I use my daughter's old school back pack as a tail bag on my bike - shoulder straps do up through the bike's grab-bars (sissy bars) and the chest strap goes under the seat to secure. Works a treat as a tail bag and when you park up you simply remove from the bike and use as a back pack :)
I did a vlog showing it a while back :)

I use the Alpinestars Performer Backpack. Bought it off of Revzilla. It's a pretty basic backpack: has one large pocket in the front, the main compartment has a laptop sleeve and then extra space for my college books, some pencil organizers and a small pocket connected to the organizer. However, it doesn't hold up well in heavy rain but does have quality zippers and cool looking Alpinestars logos throughout the backpack. Only cost me $45 USD.

That is a great Idea considering the amount of packs I already use (issued). I have a 2014 Ninja 650 so the rear seat is not tiny, this might be a great way to not spend a hundred or more dollars on a bag lol.

Cannot complain about that at all. Thank you for the input!!

well there are lots of good choices. It just seems that if you get a tail bag that converts into a back pack its like 300 dollars.

If you're looking for a Motorcycle Backpack, I would highly recommend to go with Kriega. I love Kriega 25 so bad, I bough it when I live in Russia and have been using it for 5 years almost and it's blast.
