Topics For Vlogs

Just curious, how do you all plan your topics? Do you use topic ideas from other vlogs or come up with random stuff that comes to your mind?

I do a mix. If I see a popular topic, I like to cover it. If not, I come up with my own.

It's been a while since Ive done a proper vlog. I don't think I've ever planned one, just gone with the flow.

I found the best videos were talking about past experiences.

If I happen to be thinking about something that would work as a vlog, I'll make a note and talk about it on the bike, I don't have a brainstorming session on what to vlog about.

I don't feel like there really is a said "proper" vlog. I think whatever the creator puts out is how it should be. When I try going with the flow, I just ramble about nonsense hahah.
I'll have to try out the past experience stuff. Maybe with old high school stories.

See, I'd probably avoid brainstorming but nothing interesting ever happens when I'm riding and the scenery I ride through is fairly boring so I have to make up for it with a good topic.

I actually have a list with topics I want to talk about. I like talking about stuff that is really important to me and so most of the time I'll put some research (about facts and special vocabulary) into it before recording.

I usually find something random to talk about during life. And then there is the now weekly "idiot of the week" where I highlight the most idiotic move I captured on my dashcam. The last two where accidents... 0_o'

Otherwise, just seat of my pants shit

i have one vlog where i actually had a plan about what i was going to talk about. i managed to stay on topic for most of it and it turned out pretty good. most of the time i just wing it and wind up somewhere completely different.

Only done 1 proper one so farmand it was about previous vids so had a game plan(ish)
The rest are ramblings at the time ...I think both can work
