My first motovlog was in the rain which I wasn't expecting and I didn't even bother to cover up the side of the housing, yes the camera did get a little wet but it was all fine.

The mic is a BOYA from Amazon ..only cheap need to tape the wire as I can hear it moving in the wind

Don't know what that is but I've used bluetac to seal the hole
