Youtube Seo...

Hey, I saw on one vlogger's channel that he included his keywords in his description. My question - good idea or bad idea??? In some ways I could see that it would be good because I know of one other site that works like this (keywords + keywords in description = more relevant) but then again I could see that it might not be so good because it might segregate your video if the keywords aren't the best (plus it gives your SEO away, if it matters ~).

What's everyone thought on this ?

It doesn't help other than a placebo as YouTube uses the tags you add properly in the same way, and then edits those tags as it learns more about your videos.

It's amazing how far search engines have come, even within the last few years . At one time, you used to tell them what to think, now they tell you what to think ~_~ . Not sure if it's all for the best or not, but there are always those people (who I kind'a chuckle at ) who say AI will take over one day... we'll see .
